Why get acupuncture while you are in the hospital?
If you are in the hospital for an extended period of time, acupuncture can help with enhance your recovery. Common conditions we treat in hospitals:

Am I a candidate for acupuncture in my hospital bed?
Hospitals in Vancouver & the Lower Mainland require physician approval before we can go in to provide you treatment. Please speak with your attending doctor and if they approve of acupuncture with your health condition, ask them to sign off on the paperwork (you can usually obtain this form at the nurses station).
Once you have this form signed, please call us so we can arrange a time for us to come in. We will ask you to also speak with the hospital care staff so we can coordinate the best time to come that won’t interfere with hospital schedules.
